since at least 3 of us have seen harry potter i thought all would enjoy this article. its the wired story of the special effects used. its pretty frickin sweet.

4 OMG THIS IS TOTALLY WHAT WE SHOULD TALK ABOUT:
1. I agree that we are amazing.
2. Y'know, I didn't really notice the special effects. Which means they were good. I knew going into the movie that the sfx were being raved about on The Internets, and still, the only time I was conscious of their being special effects was panning through the smokey cloud effects at the beginning. They were well done, despite my overall underwhelmedness with the movie.
3. Michael Gambon is a badass and Gambledorf is easily my favorite character.
Mr Gambon has a turn on the Top Gear track named after him. I don't remember what he looks like or who he plays in HP but he's okay by me!
