question

Have any of you read Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse? I'm asking because I finished it today (a 27-hour-long power outage inspired me) and I was wondering if anyone else has come across it. It's got a bit of psychology and a lot of Nietzsche. Parts of it are beautifully written. I thought it very strange, and very interesting.

"Eternity is a mere moment, just long enough for a joke."

I have not had the pleasure to read that. I'll hopefully be starting "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" soon, which will be my first Nietzsche read. Maybe "Steppenwolf" can follow . . .
