The words and images won't move around to adjust to the size of the window. So if you shrink your browser window, the little scroll bar at the bottom appears so you can move around horizontally to see everything. This comment page and Facebook are like that.
On the blog, though, instead of that happening, everything conforms to fit the width of the window. It is not fixed. Try it. If you make it narrow enough, all the history and tag info shifts to the very bottom.
And as far as I know, it has nothing to do with Dave's mom, as I may have mentioned earlier.
